Deputies in the City of Riverbank responded to 177 calls for service over the past two weeks. Listed are a few details of the various calls that were handled by officers throughout the area.

On Saturday, Oct. 8 at 12:40 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, in the 3700 block of Iowa Avenue.

Deputies responded to the report of an erratic subject under the influence of narcotics, attempting to fight people at the Cheese and Wine festival on Saturday at 2 p.m.; the subject was arrested and transported to the hospital.

At 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Stanislaus Street and Second Street. A subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

On Saturday night at 8:06 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a family fight at the Modesto Mobile Home Park. Two adult sisters were fighting inside a trailer. A firearm was involved but both parties were uncooperative. A firearm was recovered and booked for safe keeping.

On Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a battery on school grounds at Riverbank High School.

During the afternoon on Friday at 12:20 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 5700 block of Holbrook Drive.

Deputies responded to the report of a robbery in the 3600 block of Iowa Avenue on Friday at 5:40 p.m. Deputies arrested Jesus Barragan, 30, for robbery, brandishing a weapon, and several warrants for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.

At 6:10 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a restraining order violation in the 2900 block of Ward Avenue.

On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 11:05 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Tennessee Avenue on a violation of restraining order and vandalism.

During the afternoon on Thursday at 1:15 p.m., deputies responded to the report of credit card fraud in the 3200 block of Riverside Drive.

Deputies responded to the report of a family fight at the intersection of Second Street and Santa Fe Street on Thursday at 4 p.m.

During the evening on Thursday at 6 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Riverside Drive and First Street.

Deputies responded to the report of a drunk driver near the intersection of Patterson Road and Jackson Avenue on Thursday at 9:20 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and arrested a 47-year-old man for driving under the influence of alcohol.

On Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 10:24 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Patterson Road and Callander Avenue. The driver was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. The 29-year-old driver was arrested and transported without incident.
