Deputies patrolling the streets of Riverbank had several calls for service this past week including a drunk in public, hit and run, and petty thefts.

On Monday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m., deputies responded to a male subject running in and out of traffic at Second Street and Atchison Street. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a 39-year-old man, who was determined to be extremely intoxicated. He was arrested for being drunk in public without incident.

During the early morning hours on Monday, deputies investigated a felony hit and run collision with injuries near Oakdale Road and Westgate Road. Deputies located the responsible vehicle and arrested the driver for DUI and felony hit and run.

On Sunday, Feb. 20 at 1:30 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for erratic driving in the 2700 block of Patterson Road. The driver, a 30-year-old, was arrested for DUI.

At 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19 deputies responded to a violation of a restraining order in the 5000 block of Holbrook Drive.

During the afternoon on Saturday at 5:45 p.m., deputies responded to a petty theft at Best Buy.

On Friday, Feb. 18 at 9:30 a.m., deputies responded to a violation of a court order in the 6000 block of Jaguar Court.

At 5:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to a violation of a court order in the 2000 block of Ward Avenue.

Deputies responded to a petty theft at Ulta Beauty on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

At 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, deputies responded to the report of a grand theft in the 2000 block of Country Manor Drive.

Deputies responded to the report of a hit and run collision, property damage only, in the Home Depot parking lot on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Candlewood Place.

On Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m., deputies responded to a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Patterson Road and Eighth Street.

At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies stopped suspects from a Tuesday, Feb. 15 incident. A search warrant was served; a firearm and replica firearms were recovered. A juvenile was arrested for violation of probation and possession of a firearm. An 18-year-old was arrested for possession of an un-serialized firearm (ghost gun).

On Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 9:15 a.m., deputies investigated a traffic collision, property damage only, in the intersection of Oakdale Road and Westgate Drive.

At 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies investigated the brandishing of a firearm in the 6000 block of Second Street.

Deputies investigated a petty theft in the 3000 block of Orange Avenue on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

At 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies investigated a misdemeanor vandalism at a local business. A store clerk challenged a customer to a fight. The customer took the clerk’s phone from the counter and smashed it before fleeing.
