Jean Marian Wey passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Memorial Hospital on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016.
Marian was born in Davidson, Michigan on Feb. 19, 1926. Marian came to California in 1944 and married Lial (Bud) Wey on Jan. 3, 1945. Marian resided in Riverbank for the past 61 years.
Marian is survived by her eight children, Jean Frisk (Mario Acevedo) Riverbank, CA, Linda Miller (Larry) Sutherlin, OR, Janet Cordray (Dan) San Tan Valley, AZ, Joyce Vander Meulen (Bill) Escalon, CA, Jon Wey, Sutherlin, OR, Kenny Wey (Theresa) Riverbank, CA, Lisa Brown (David) Modesto, CA, Melanie Boulter, Riverbank, CA; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lial (Bud) Wey, mother Olive Pratt and father Lee Pratt.
Marian was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, music, canning fruit, family get-togethers and holidays.
Funeral services were held at Riverbank Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 and Interment followed at Burwood Cemetery on River Road in Escalon.
