Stemming from an incident that occurred this past summer, a formal ‘Thank You’ was issued this past week.
The Riverbank Home Depot on Thursday, Dec. 21 recognized store employees and first responders who responded to an incident on Aug. 8 of this year. A store employee suffered a life-threatening medical emergency while working in the store during restock hours, said store officials. Quick actions from store employees in recognizing the emergency, calling 911 and initiating CPR to the Advanced Life Support from Paramedics on Engine 7 and AMR provided a lifesaving outcome. The store member has recovered and returned to work.
Crew members with Modesto Engine 7, American Medical Response, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, Stanislaus Regional 911 Dispatch and Home Depot employees were recognized by Home Depot leadership and staff at the special ceremony on Dec. 21. They also had the opportunity to spend some time with the store member they all helped save.
