The 2022 Championship events are underway for Riverbank High School Winter Guard. They will be competing in several events each weekend throughout the month. Photos show the team, joined by supporters, and then just the members of the group display one of the trophies they have won. The team began the competitive season with a First Place showing at Gregori High School earlier under the direction of Band Director Joey Aguilar. He noted that the team has been working very hard and put in many hours of practice into the production. This past weekend the Winter Guard competed at Central Valley High School in Ceres where they received Second Place. The competition was steep as all three teams that placed in their class are within tenths of a point from each other. RHS Winter Guard will compete in the Union City Regional this coming weekend, have another show at Gregori High School the following weekend and championships are scheduled for April 2.
