Modesto Sunrise Rotary is presenting the 29th annual High School All-Star Baseball Classic on Saturday, June 9.

Riverbank will be represented by varsity Bruin baseball players Carlos Villapudua and Nikolas Mayfield. Villapudua was selected for the all-star competition as a catcher and Mayfield as an infielder.

The game is scheduled at the Stanislaus State baseball field in Turlock. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., pre-game is at 6:30 p.m. and game time is 7:05 p.m.

Riverbank will be part of the Blue Team for the all-star contest, joining forces with Modesto, Big Valley Christian, Modesto Christian, Central Valley, Pitman, Orestimba, Downey, Enochs and Central Catholic.

The Gold team includes players from Oakdale, Beyer, Hughson, Waterford, Turlock, Gregori, Turlock Christian, Patterson, Ceres and Johansen.
