An incident that occurred on Monday, April 30 saw officers responding to a report of a shooting.

The call came in just before 7:30 p.m. on April 30, and Riverbank Police Services deputies were dispatched to a 911 call regarding a person that was shot in the 2600 block of Santa Fe Street in Riverbank. When deputies arrived they found an adult female with a gunshot wound and she was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.

There is no suspect information at this time. Police are continuing the investigation.
