SUNDAY, APRIL 19

1:49 a.m. – Deputies contacted two subjects arguing in front of a home in the 5900 block of Newbrook. Both subjects were intoxicated and unable to care for themselves. The adult male and adult female were arrested for being drunk in public. They were both transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

5:53 p.m. – Reported violation of a court order in the 2900 block of Ward.

SATURDAY, APRIL 18

9:22 a.m. – Investigation by deputies into a hit and run vehicle collision in the 3600 block of Stanislaus.

6:38 p.m. – Report of vandalism in the 2700 block of Morrill.

8:08 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Target. One adult female was arrested for grand theft after she failed to pay for over $1,000 in merchandise.

9:03 p.m. – Strong-armed robbery reported in the 5800 block of Roselle; deputies investigated and learned an unknown male tackled a store employee and left the store without paying for multiple items.

FRIDAY, APRIL 17

4:28 p.m. – Deputies stopped a vehicle for reckless driving. The adult female driver was found to be drunk. She was arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

9:01 p.m. – While on a call, deputies contacted the driver of a vehicle that had arrived at the location. The adult male driver showed signs of being impaired. Through investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

THURSDAY, APRIL 16

2:38 a.m. – Deputies contacted a subject sleeping on railroad property. The subject was found to have illegal narcotics on their person. The adult female was arrested for trespassing and possession of illegal drugs. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

3:17 p.m. – Theft reported in the 3100 block of Orange.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15

10:02 a.m. – Vehicle collision investigation by deputies at Claus and Claribel.

11:54 a.m. – Deputies were finishing a traffic stop when they saw a subject they knew had an active warrant in the 3700 block of Atchison. The subject was detained and issued a citation with a new court date due to his medical history.

4:32 p.m. – Vehicle collision investigation by deputies in the 2600 block of Briarcliff.

6:24 p.m. – Investigation conducted into a report of possible sexual assault on First Street.

9:05 p.m. – Deputies stopped a vehicle for vehicle code violations at Claus and Claribel. The driver was found to be driving under the influence. He was arrested for DUI, transported to the Stanislaus County Detention Center and booked.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS:

On Wednesday, April 15, SRO Johnson and CRD Tovar attended the Community Collaborative Meeting at California Avenue Elementary.
