While the high school Bruins were on the road last weekend, finding success on the football field, the youth teams were out and about also, but with less success.

The Junior Bruins traveled to Escalon to take on the host Outlaws, and came away with two losses.

The Novice won 12 to 6, but the JV team lost 36-0 and the Varsity Junior Bruins went down to a 24-0 defeat.

For week three of the youth football season, Riverbank hosts the Ripon Chiefs.

The Jr. Novice team plays Saturday at 12:30 p.m., Novice at 2 p.m., JV at 4 p.m. and varsity at 6 p.m., all at the Riverbank High School stadium.
