Riverbank United Methodist Women are cooking soup and beans on Friday, Feb. 9. You can dine in, take out or call and place an order for delivery within Riverbank. Soup/beans will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 6901 Third St., corner of Third and Atchison streets.

A bowl of soup and/or beans is $5 and dessert is $1 more. The women will be serving homemade Chicken Noodle, Corn Chowder, Cream of Broccoli, Vegetable Beef, Portuguese Beans with Linguica, and White Beans with Ham soup. For dessert you have a choice of homemade Chocolate Brownies, Blonde Brownies or Lemon Bars.
